745 Guild Members and Growing

The Guilds have become a cornerstone for the Immaculata Church Project.

With 26 new members in October alone, the total now stands at 745 generous members to have joined one of the six guilds since the plans for this enormous project were unveiled on June 15th.

Over 100 guild members have completed their contribution in full. More than 100 additional members have made their first annual payment. 435 have been making regular monthly payments including many local teachers and staff who have made arrangements through payroll to support the project at a guild level.

There are about 100 members who have signed up for a guild that have not made their first payment. Quite a few of these have contacted accounting to outline their plans to fulfill their pledge – including those that will make their first annual payment in December or pay their entire pledge in the Spring. It helps tremendously to know each donor’s plans and we ask all that make pledges to bear in mind we are depending on their pledges to be fulfilled.

What is also encouraging are the phone calls from Guild Members wishing to increase their pledges.

Current Guild Member Totals

Total Guild Members: 745

It is edifying to see hundreds of young adults – and even teenagers – among the first three guilds.

Currently, there are:

  • Over 350 Guild Members of the $1,000+ Carpenters Guild.

  • Over 200 Guild Members of the $5,000+ Musicians Guild.

  • Almost 120 Guild Members of the $10,000+ Windowmakers Guild

  • Nearing 50 Guild Members of the $25,000+ Stonecutters Guild

  • 12 Guild Members of the $50,000+ Goldsmiths Guild

  • 10 Guild Members of the $100,000+ Foundry Guild

  • And 8 Guild Members of the Fr. Shyne League giving $500,000 or more.

What is also encouraging are the phone calls from guild members wishing to increase their pledges.

Truly, without the collective effort, generosity, and prayer of each donor and guild member, this important project would not be solidly established for success. Certainly our Blessed Mother will remember every portion given by donors to a project so dear to Her!

At the upcoming November 24th Parish Update Event we will have more news and breakdowns about the project’s fundraising progress.
