August 2020 Financial Update

August saw new donations (pledges and one-time donations) of $100,000, bringing the total raised to $26,930,000.  This leaves $3,070,000 of the original $30,000,000 goal yet to be raised.  We added 17 new guild members in August bringing to total guild members to over 920.

Work with the architectural arts company on plans for extremely detailed aspects of the interior décor of the church continue. Meanwhile, with a full month of site work, St. Mary’s spent $420,000 on the Immaculata project with most of that for the site preparation, which is a huge project in itself.  We spent more out of our funds than the $170,000 we added through new donations and collections of pledges.  But this is expected and it is the reason we waited to start the project until we had sufficient funds in hand.

Instead of the destruction we see on television and social media, it is so encouraging to see construction …and for it to be for the Love of Our Lady and the Greater Glory of God.

Watch for an outreach program around November 1st where we will provide tools for all current supporters to spread the word about this incredible project. Be prepared for very specific instructions that will help you know how to best let your friends and family learn about the project using the texting, email, snail mail, and social media tools we will have ready for you.  Those tools will be designed specifically for people who are just learning about the project.  Our goal is for every supporter to find at least ten people to share with when we have those tools ready for you.

Go to www.anewimmaculata.org/donate to learn about the guilds and how to give if you have not yet done so or would like to make an additional donation using our pledge form. Contact us at mypledge@anewimmaculata.org if you need help on the status of your pledge or have other questions or concerns.

Please remember to pray the Memorare for this project’s success.
