Our Lady of Perpetual Help
A Pedestal & Canopy has been designed for a statue of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The original architect and stone mason have created a design on the epistle side of the sanctuary that balances the gospel side’s ambo (marble pulpit). Identical marble and granite are being ordered from the same source in Turkey as all other stonework in and around the high altar of the Immaculata.
People from all over the world visit the Immaculata while the local congregation continues to grow. All will be able to see this statue so prominently displayed in the sanctuary.
Total estimated cost of the project is $37,500
This statue was originally purchased by Fr. Hector Bolduc and became a permanent fixture of the Assumption Chapel (also located on the campuses of St. Mary’s Academy & College) under Fr. Ramon Angles
Our Lady of Perpetual Help will have a permanent home in the sanctuary of the Immaculata!
