• The ciborium holds the consecrated hosts to be distributed to the faithful at Holy Communion. They must be large enough to hold a large quantity of hosts yet be made of precious materials fit to carry the Body of Christ. Our ciboria are made of silver with an interior cup gilded or plated in gold.

• Six ciboria are needed for distribution of Holy Communion at our daily Masses.
